Deleting unique sequences in Disign

To simplify the use of the Disign digital signage CMS, we originally designed two main modes for campaign management:

  • Unique sequences
  • Calendar scheduling

The unique sequence mode allowed for quick campaign launches by playing a sequence in a loop on the players. This mode was very intuitive and ideal for simple, temporary campaigns. However, we found that adding scheduling required an extra step, which was not always convenient for our users.

Feedback from Disigners and Our Response

In response to feedback from our Disigners, we have decided to further simplify the process. Disign is now removing unique sequences to focus solely on scheduling. This update makes managing your campaigns even more fluid and consistent. Here’s what this means:

  • Removal of unique sequences: Now, all campaigns default to using scheduling.
  • Process automation: When creating a new campaign, a schedule is automatically generated, streamlining the configuration process.

Benefits of This Simplification

This evolution of Disign offers several notable benefits:

  1. Time savings: Campaign setup is quicker due to the elimination of unique sequence management.
  2. Centralized management: With scheduling, all your campaigns are now managed from a single location, reducing complexity and minimizing errors.
  3. Increased flexibility: New scheduling features efficiently handle tasks previously managed with the unique sequence mode.
